About the Founder

Omalocs Beauty is the go-to destination for all things microlocs. Our name, “Ọma” comes from the Igbo language of southeastern Nigeria, meaning “beautiful” or “good.” Every set of locs is unique, yet they all share one thing in common, they’re undeniably beautiful.

This platform was inspired by my own microlocs journey, which has made caring for my hair simpler, while giving me the space to live more freely. It’s helped me fall in love with my natural hair all over again and appreciate its beauty. The joy I feel can’t really be put into words, only experienced, and I want others to feel it too.
