What hairstyles did you used to wear the most before getting microlocs?
High puffs and box braids.

What made you decide to install microlocs?
I absolutely hated the detangling process and long wash days. I wanted to be able to workout without worrying about my hair.
What’s your go-to-hairstyle?
Side parts are my favorite but when I'm working out it's always in a high bun.
How do you maintain your locs and what products do you use regularly?
I get my locs re-tied every 8 weeks. I wash every 2 weeks and I style whenever I feel the need to be creative!
What do you love most about your locs and why?
True hair freedom! My hair is always done and styling is optional. I can literally just get up and go!
What has been the biggest challenge or adjustment?
I had to deal with seborrheic dermatitis and my locs unraveling after using color.
What’s something you wish you knew before getting loc’d?
How much free time I would gain from not having to worry about my hair.
What advice would you give someone considering installing Sisterlocks or microlocs?
Just do it! It's life-changing!
